York Community Stadium — also known as LNER Community Stadium for sponsorship purposes — is a sports stadium in York, North Yorkshire and the home ground of York City Football Club.
The stadium has a maximum capacity of 8,005 spectators.
The LNER Community Stadium, opened in 2021, is an advanced facility with a capacity of 8,500, designed to Championship standards. Visiting supporters are typically accommodated in the West Stand (blocks WH and WI) or the North Stand, depending on expected attendance. These areas offer covered seating. In case of high demand, additional sections in the West Stand or the North Stand may be opened for away fans.
Access to the stadium is straightforward, but parking is limited. It’s advisable to pre-book parking through the club’s ticketing website, which offers a quick booking process. Additionally, Drive Taxis York, a club partner, provides priority service for supporters.
Match tickets for visiting fans can be obtained either through York City’s ticketing website or directly from the visiting club, depending on the arrangement for each fixture. Announcements about ticket availability are made by the respective clubs. If necessary, tickets can also be purchased on match day at the North stand ticket booth, subject to availability.
The stadium offers various food and drink options, including hot and cold beverages, snacks, burgers, pies, and hot dogs, available at concessions in the concourse.
