Hurn Bridge is a sports stadium in Christchurch, Dorset and the home ground of Christchurch Football Club.
To reach Christchurch FC’s ground by vehicle, start from Ringwood on the A338 and exit at the junction marked Bournemouth International Airport (Hurn). At the T-junction, turn right and proceed through the traffic lights until reaching a small roundabout in Hurn. Here, turn right, moving away from the airport exit and following the sign towards Sopley. The ground is located about 100 meters on the right.
For those using public transport, the journey involves a combination of rail and bus services. From Bournemouth Rail Station, which is approximately 5¼ miles from the ground, take the Yellow Buses service, route number 737, to Bournemouth Airport. The bus departs at 1137 and 1337, with a journey time of around 44 minutes. Note that there is no return bus service. From Bournemouth Airport, retrace the route up Airport Road, turn left onto Parley Lane, cross over the roundabout at Avon Causeway, and the ground is on the right after 1 mile.
Alternatively, from Christchurch Rail Station, 3¼ miles away, take the Morebus service, routes X1 or X2. The bus stop is a short walk from the station: exit the station, turn left into Stour Road, then right into Fairmile Road. Buses to The Grove depart twice an hour and the journey takes about 5 minutes. After alighting, walk in the same direction of travel along Hurn Road to the A338 Flyover (Blackwater Bridge) and continue to the next roundabout. Turn right here, and the ground is on the right. The total walking distance from The Grove bus stop is around 2 miles. For the return journey, buses towards Christchurch depart at 1759 and 1856 (last bus), while buses towards Bournemouth leave from the same stop at 1755 and 1852 (last bus).
