York Road

York Road is a sports stadium in Maidenhead, Berkshire and the home ground of Maidenhead United Football Club.

The stadium has a maximum capacity of 4,000 spectators.

York Road Stadium is easily accessible by car via the M4 or M40 motorways. From the M4, drivers should take the A404(M) exit and follow signs towards Maidenhead Central before turning onto Windsor Road/A308 and continuing via Stafferton Way and Forlease Road to reach York Road. From the M40, the route involves taking the A404 towards Maidenhead and following the A308 through Marlow Road, Frascati Way, and Broadway before arriving at York Road. However, parking at the stadium itself is not available.

Visitors traveling by car can use several nearby long-stay parking options in Maidenhead’s town center. Recommended car parks include the Clocktower at Maidenhead Station on Bell Street, Stafferton Way (except Level 1, which is reserved for railway customers), and Vicus Way. Each location offers convenient access to York Road for those attending events or matches at the stadium.

For those arriving by train, Maidenhead Rail Station is located opposite the Bell Street entrance to York Road Stadium. The station provides regular services from London and Reading, making it a practical option for fans traveling from further afield. Cycle parking is also available at the station for those commuting by bike.
