The Imperial Homes Stadium, located on Portsmouth Road in Southampton, SO19 9PW, is accessible via Junction 8 of the M27 motorway. Upon exiting the motorway, take the B3397 towards Hamble, bypassing Tesco and proceeding straight through two roundabouts. Then, turn right towards Woolston A3025, continue on Portsmouth Road, pass the Plough Pub, and turn right into Sholing FC, opposite a layby. The entrance road is a single track, so drivers should proceed cautiously, mindful of pedestrians and speed bumps.
The tarmac car park at the stadium is designated for officials and players, featuring two disabled parking bays near the turnstile entrance. For general parking, vehicles can access the grass car park through the tarmac area, making a left turn at the bottom into the field. It is crucial to avoid parking in areas marked with traffic cones or in front of gates to ensure clear access for emergency vehicles. Coaches are advised not to enter the ground due to narrow roadways and should instead park in the layby opposite the main entrance.
Public transport options include the Sholing train station, which is 1.3 miles from the stadium, equating to a 30-minute walk. Additionally, First Buses routes X4 and X5 stop outside the ground, while buses stopping on Botley Road leave a quarter-mile walk to the stadium. As per VT Sports Group rules, dogs are not permitted on the premises, except for assistance dogs.
