Bowden Park — also known as Harborough Town Community Football Ground for sponsorship purposes — is a sports stadium in Market Harborough, Leicestershire and the home ground of Harborough Town Football Club.
The stadium has a maximum capacity of 1,000 spectators.
Bowden Park is accessible by various means of transportation. Those arriving by train can use Market Harborough Station, located approximately one mile from the ground. This station has frequent East Midlands Railway (EMR) services connecting from London St Pancras and the East Midlands. For convenience, a taxi rank is available outside the station, with an estimated travel time of 10 minutes to the ground, depending on traffic.
Bus services are less frequent, but still a viable option. The “X7 Stagecoach” bus, which runs between Leicester and Northampton, stops near the ground. The closest bus stop is Market Harborough, Leisure Centre, which is a brief 5-minute walk from the ground. This proximity makes it an easy choice for those preferring bus travel.
For those driving, Bowden Park can be reached from either direction on the A508. When approaching from the north, drivers should follow the A508 towards Market Harborough Leisure Centre, passing Protheroe’s Garage, and then take a right at the next roundabout, following the road to the Harborough Town FC clubhouse. Coming from the south, drivers should stay on the A508 from the A14, pass through Great Oxendon, and take the first exit at the roundabout after descending a hill. The clubhouse is visible diagonally across the car park after a left turn and a follow-around of the road.
