Kane Dougherty is a football coach serving as the Head Coach of Biggleswade United Football Club since . He has previously been associated with Shefford Town and Campton during his career.
Spent three and a half seasons as coach of Shefford Town and Campton, where he enjoyed considerable success. During his time with the club, he guided them to the top of the table in the 2020-21 season before the campaign was curtailed by the Covid pandemic. The following year, he led the team to promotion via the play-offs and added further silverware by winning the Spartan South Midlands Division One League Cup. He also oversaw a remarkable run in the FA Vase, reaching the 3rd round proper in Shefford’s first-ever appearance in the competition.
In the seasons that followed, Dougherty consolidated Shefford’s position at Step 5, ensuring the club could compete at a higher level.
