James Kinsey

James Kinsey is a football coach who is currently unattached. He has previously been associated with Stalybridge Celtic and Wythenshawe Town during his career.

Kinsey began his senior football management career with East Manchester FC in May 2017 and moved to Wythenshawe Town, where he led the club to significant success. After the NWCFL restructure, his team was placed in the North West Counties Division One South, achieving a 5th place finish in his first full season and 3rd in the 2019-20 season, which was interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Despite the pandemic-shortened 2020-21 season, Wythenshawe Town was promoted to the North West Counties Premier Division based on their strong start of seven wins from seven games. The following season, they finished 3rd in the Premier Division and reached the FA Vase Quarter Finals. James’ effective management was acknowledged when he was named North West Counties Premier Division Manager of the Year.

Continuing their upward trajectory, Wythenshawe Town again finished 3rd in the subsequent season and made it to the Manchester Premier Cup Final. The team showcased remarkable scoring prowess, netting a total of 125 goals in all competitions, with 109 in league play, underlining James’ successful tenure at the club.
