Darren Mullings is a 37-year old football coach serving as the Manager of Yate Town Football Club . He has previously been associated with Chippenham Town, Oxford City, Salisbury, Torquay United and Weston-super-Mare during his career.
Beginning his career as a trainee with Bristol Rovers, Mullings turned professional in 2005 and made his league debut later that year. However, he struggled for first-team opportunities and was loaned to Clevedon Town before being released in 2007. He then joined Torquay United, where he had a brief and eventful stint, including scoring on his debut but also being sent off in the same match. After a loan spell at Tiverton Town, Mullings was released by Torquay.
Mullings continued his career with Weston-super-Mare in 2008, where he became a regular and signed a contract after a successful trial. He later moved to Gloucester City, where he enjoyed a productive period, scoring 28 goals in 121 appearances. His career also included spells at Oxford City, Paulton Rovers, and a brief return to Weston-super-Mare before rejoining Gloucester City. In November 2017, he transferred to Chippenham Town and subsequently joined Salisbury in 2018, where he also took on player-coach responsibilities starting in 2020.
In November 2022, Mullings joined Yate Town as a player-coach and was appointed manager in 2023.
