Craig ‘Davo’ Davis is a football coach serving as the Manager of Winchester City Football Club . He has previously been associated with AFC Totton, Bashley, Fleet Town, Gosport Borough and Salisbury during his career.
The Player-Manager joined Winchester City from Fleet Town after stepping down as their Manager. Initially, he took over as Interim Manager until the end of the 2016-17 season before securing the role permanently. His playing career began at Cardiff City and included stints at Bashley, Salisbury, Gosport Borough, and AFC Totton, where he achieved victories in both the Southern League South and West and the Premier.
Known affectionately as ‘Davo,’ he has had multiple opportunities to move to other clubs, including offers from higher levels, but he has consistently demonstrated his loyalty and commitment to City. Under his leadership, City’s league position has improved each year, showcasing his effective management skills.
Davo successfully navigated City through their inaugural season at Step Three, ensuring the club’s survival. His ongoing dedication and management prowess have been pivotal in the club’s steady progress and development.
