Chris Agutter is a football coach serving as the Manager of Worthing Football Club since . He has previously been associated with Eastbourne Borough and Hastings United during his career.
Agutter joined Worthing from Sussex rivals Hastings United, where he achieved their joint-highest league finish and led the team to the Sussex Transport Senior Cup Final. Agutter’s coaching career began at Brighton and Hove Albion’s Academy, later serving as Academy Manager and First Team Assistant Manager at Eastbourne Borough. He first joined Hastings United in January 2017 as Academy Head of Coaching, becoming Manager later that year. His tenure included an almost-promotion to the Isthmian League Premier Division, interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
In November 2021, Agutter moved to League Two’s Stevenage as an Academy Coach and briefly acted as interim First Team Assistant Manager. He returned to Hastings United in 2023, lifting the team from 14th to 7th and reaching the Sussex Senior Cup Final.
