King's Lynn Town Football Club, nicknamed “The Linnets,” is a non-league football club based in Kings Lynn, Norfolk.

King’s Lynn, reformed in 1879, is a historic football club in Norfolk, England. Originally comprising multiple teams, it emerged as a prominent club in the region. Known for varying kit colors, they settled on old gold and royal blue in 1923. The club played in the Norfolk & Suffolk League and East Anglian League, achieving significant success.
Post-World War I, they transitioned to King’s Lynn and competed in various leagues, including the Eastern Counties League, East Midlands League, and later the Southern League. Financial challenges in the late 1980s led to relegation, but they won the Southern League Eastern Division in 2003-04. Promotion to Conference North was secured in 2007-08, but demotion followed due to ground grading issues.
King’s Lynn has an impressive FA Cup history, with their most notable run in the 2006-07 season, featuring a televised match against Oldham Athletic. The club faced financial difficulties and was wound up in 2009, but was reformed in 2010, eventually gaining promotion to the Northern Premier League in 2012-13.
The Walks Stadium, their home since 1879, has seen significant developments, including modern stands and floodlights, funded largely by the Supporters Club and recent renovations. Despite ongoing challenges with ground standards, The Walks remains a key part of King’s Lynn Town’s football narrative.
